Two weeks after Texas began to roll back coronavirus restrictions, the Lone Star State counted its largest single-day totals in new cases and deaths as local and state governments grapple for power over reopening.

The state health agency reported 58 deaths from coronavirus and 1,448 new confirmed cases on Thursday, both records as the state continues to ease restrictions.

I do still believe certain measures needed to be taken at the start to help slow the spread and bring awareness to the virus.

I have noticed this virus has been turned into a huge political tool and has further divided an already divided people. The mask vs no mask debate..etc etc...

I also was reassured that our government and political officials are self centered and only care about their own agenda not the people. From dumping stocks ahead of announcements to Pelosi and company wanting to blame everything on our president and take no blame...and of course stuffing stimulus package bills with whatever agenda they wanted passed ahead of what was best for citizens.
